Life and Death. Ice and Fire. Vice and Virtue. All things must have balance. Settled below the frigid and pious Holy See there is a warm and welcoming lounge. Its halls are open to any who wish to indulge be it in drinks, conversation, entertainment, or more. Those who are not welcome above can come below.

IC this place just advertises itself as a goth bar & lounge. There is not a rule for it because it is an unspoken rule but please do not let your oc openly speak of being a voidsent or nightkin, etc. etc. we want intrigue here!
If your oc acts up and makes an issue, I'll just kick you from the estate with no warning.
Guidelines.
No OOC and IC bleed.
People are not their characters and vice versa. Treat other roleplayers with respect and do not let out of character issues make the venue into something that it isn't.
NSFW/SFW
Vice and Virtue is a 21+ establishment. While not explicitly nsfw, it is meant to cater to a more mature audience with darker themes.
Erp is not allowed in say chat, no full nudity is allowed in the venue, blah blah. Be a harlot but don’t do something that everyone in the room doesn’t consent to.
chat usage
Please do not use /shout or /yell and keep ooc chatter in say chat to a minimum. Optimize tells and party chats for for ooc communication.
gil
This venue does not trade gil and/or items when at the bar. All services are done in character and if you want to tip, follow your heart, xoxo.

We are an LGBT-oriented space, and we do not tolerate either IC or OOC prejudice (including sexism, racism, homophobia, etc). This especially includes IC racism.

The Jackal.
He/Him || Bartender
A barkeep, a tailor, a steady hand and a listening ear. The Jackal strives to satisfy patrons and clients in anyway that he can. He is a levelheaded, curious and patient man. Always aspiring to best assist the soul before him. Take a seat, drink a cocktail and unpack all your woes to the steady hand that serves you.
The Fox.
She/Her || Bartender
A coy smile accompanies each drink crafted with precision and passion. The Fox invites patrons to sit a little closer, laugh a little louder, and linger a little longer. She is a playful and quick witted woman whos words can liven up even the stillest night. Come take a seat at her bar and allow her charm to help you to unwind.
The Vulture.
He/Him || Bartender
A contradiction. One bows his head and offers warmth the other flashes a smile and takes his pleasure. Both stand behind the bar. The Vulture is an extremely nervous man, kind and exceedingly patient... unless he is not. Then he is all too confident, uncouth and impatient. Which do you hope serves you?
Our Virtue.
He/They || Entertainment
There are few things that Our Virtue cherishes more than attention: a fact which is made evidently clear whenever he graces the stage with his airy voice. Self-described as the 'namesake for this joint,' Virtue relishes getting to discuss their day, to lament their woes, and to convince patrons to share a drink with them.
Chasseur.
He/Him || Temporary Host
Not his usual line of work, but an interesting job none the less. Chasseur makes himself a little too at home at the lounge. One might find him with an arm slung around a patron or encouraging another to empty their glass. Chasseur is indulgence personified. If you're looking to step outside of your comfort zone he will happily take your hand and guide you there.
Our Marguerite.
She/Her || Hostess
A consummate professional, what she lacks in banter she makes up for in poise and dedication. Absolute service and absolute perfection CAN be attained. With enough experience, a good hostess can adapt to any situation, anticipating a guest's needs before they arise while encouraging fellow staff to play to their strengths. A successful social evening is an ensemble performance.

Names
A venue such as this requires discretion. The staff requests you choose your name wisely, if you are at a loss they would be happy to assist you in finding an identity for the evening
Indulgence
Though the land above is marked by staunch traditions and societal expectations here one may loosen their collar. The staff is well versed in both vices and virtues, allow them to guide you.
